Mike Gendron
For over 30 years, Evangelist Mike Gendron was a devout Roman Catholic and a strong defender of the "one true church." He was taught from a very early age, to trust and rely on the church, its priests, the sacraments and his own good works for salvation. However in 1981 while attending an evangelical seminar, he realized the Bible is the supreme authority for knowing truth. His new excitement and hunger for the inspired word of God led him to help organize the very first Little Rock Scripture Study at a Catholic Church in Dallas. Mike soon realized that many of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic religion were not found in the Bible. After more study he discovered the Roman Catholic plan of salvation was diametrically opposed to the Gospel of grace that is revealed in the Bible. After discerning that God seeks worshippers in spirit and truth, Mike left the Catholic Church in 1985 for a church where the true Gospel is proclaimed and the Scriptures are the final authority in all matters of faith.
In 1988 he left a successful career in corporate management to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. Four years later, during his last semester at DTS, Mike and his wife Janeʼs love for Catholics inspired them to begin a ministry that would point Catholics to the Lord Jesus Christ as their all sufficient Savior. Their hearts are now burdened for those who may be where they were for most of their life - eternally condemned and not even aware of it.

Having grown up in the Roman Catholic Church, Evangelist Jason Hauser saw his Catholic faith as not just a set of beliefs but a part of his blood. He always believed himself to be a sincere Christian and had much pride in his Catholic faith. In his last year at the University of Florida, while earning a business degree, he had a brief conversation with his atheist roommate that exposed the shallowness and hypocrisy of his supposed Christian faith. Over the next year, our Lord drew Jason to Himself through a series of events and encounters with genuine believers. He soon came to realize for the first time that he was a slave to his sin and left to himself, he was on a downward spiral deserving Hell. Upon coming to understand the Gospel of grace, as explained in Ephesians 2:8-9, he repented of all he was doing to save himself, and he trusted in the finished and perfect work of Jesus Christ for salvation.
As I was growing up in a devout Catholic home in rural New Mexico, I was thankful to be born into the "one true church." We were in church every time the doors were open, but I often wondered why my actions seemed rote and empty of any real meaning. After I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University, I was still going through the motions and rituals. When I heard the Gospel in my early twenties, I felt relief. Not because I understood that I was hopelessly and helplessly lost and that the Lord Jesus took the punishment that I deserved, but because I suspected Catholicism was legalistic with a lot of rules and regulations to follow. I gladly repeated the "sinners prayer" to save me from hell. Eventually I learned that I had fallen victim to another meaningless ritual. For the next ten years, very little changed in my life. As with most false converts, I was relying on the decision I made in repeating a prayer to be right with God. After hearing the Word of God from friends and preachers, I finally understood the only way God would save me was to repent and believe His Gospel.
